About Ulvilan Koirametsä
Ulvilan Koirametsä is located in Ulvila, a short drive from Pori. The fenced forest offers peaceful walking and outdoor time with your dog. Explore the forest at your own pace while your dog runs, plays and discovers nature.
The forest is reserved exclusively for your group during your visit. The terrain is mostly level woodland with paths but no marked walking route. The area is suitable for walking and relaxed outdoor activities. There is no lighting, so bring your own light after dark and wear footwear suitable for forest conditions. Book online when reservations are open.

From Pori
Follow Tampereentie (route 11) towards Tampere. After crossing the Kokemäenjoki bridge, turn left at the next junction onto Alisennokantie. Continue for approximately 650 metres to reach the dog forest.

Follow Tampereentie (route 11) towards Pori. Just before the Kokemäenjoki bridge, turn right onto Alisennokantie and continue for approximately 650 metres to the dog forest.
Parking and the private road
Park in the parking area in front of the dog forest. Allow visitors from the previous booking room to leave. Do not park along Alisennokantie.
The dog forest is located along a private road. Drive slowly, respect other road users and nearby residents, and keep access routes clear. Keep your dog on a lead in the parking area and on the way to the gate.
Rules
Your booking: Use the area only during your booking and leave by its end. Wait until the previous group has left. There is a 10-minute changeover between visits.
Gate: Your gate PIN is sent by email and SMS 10 minutes before your booking. Close the gate securely on arrival, during your visit and when leaving. Do not share the code outside your group.
Dogs on leads: Keep your dog on a lead outside the fenced area and when passing through the gate. Let your dog off the lead only once your whole group is inside and the gate is closed.
Keep it clean: Pick up your dog’s waste and use the designated bins. Put rubbish in a bin and take your toys and belongings with you. Do not leave food, treats or cigarette ends on the ground.
Supervision and safety: Supervise your dog throughout the visit and never leave it alone in the area. Ensure the dogs in your group get along and supervise children. Natural terrain can be uneven and slippery.
Healthy visits: Do not bring a dog with a contagious illness or symptoms suggesting one. Keep your dog’s vaccinations up to date and take care to prevent infections.
Respect the forest: Do not damage trees, plants, fencing or structures. Prevent your dog from digging under the fence. Respect other visitors and the peace of the surrounding area.
Report problems: Tell us if you notice damage or a safety hazard involving the fence, gate or grounds. Do not use damaged structures. The person booking must ensure the whole group knows these rules.

Yes. The dog forest is reserved exclusively for your group during your booking, so there are no other booked visitors in the forest at the same time. Choose the service and an available time that suits you from the booking calendar.
How much does it cost to book the dog forest?
The price depends on the service you choose. You can always see the current price in the booking calendar before completing your payment. Payment is made online when you book your visit.
How do I make a booking?
Choose a suitable date and an available time from the booking calendar, enter your contact details and pay online. After successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation by email.
How do I get the gate access code?
The gate PIN will be sent by email and SMS 10 minutes before your booking starts. At the same time, the PIN will become visible under My bookings.
Can I walk around the dog forest?
Yes. You can walk and enjoy the forest at your own pace while your dog roams freely. The area is particularly suitable for peaceful walks and spending time outdoors.
Are there walking paths?
Yes. There are paths, but no marked walking route. The terrain is mostly level woodland, although roots, stones and other natural uneven surfaces may be present.
Is the area suitable for running or fitness training?
The area is primarily intended for walking and relaxed outdoor activities. There is no running track, marked fitness trail or exercise equipment.
Is the dog forest illuminated?
No. There is no lighting in the forest. Bring your own headlamp or other light when visiting after dark.
Can I visit with friends?
Yes. You can select a visit with friends when the option is available in booking. The forest is reserved exclusively for your group. Make sure the dogs get along and check any additional fee before payment.
Is there a fire pit or firewood available?
The fire pit is not currently available for visitors, and firewood is not offered as an add-on.
